We have congress debating over the health care crisis in this country as if rising costs and the lack of sufficient insurance coverage were the only culprits. Granted these are important issues however our rising health care costs are directly attributable to our astronomically rising rates of inactivity, leading to ill health and obesity. The best insurance plan an employee can obtain is walking 5 miles a day not necessarily a better rate on prescription medication. A call for more physical activity, corporate and personal responsibility should be at the core of the debate
